What Your Peers Are Saying About The New DES Program

The digital landscape is constantly changing. From new technologies to new monetization strategies to new cyber security requirements, business events professionals have a wide range of questions to answer when charting a course for virtual engagement. At DEI, we designed a completely refreshed DES course to empower our community with the most up-to-date set of knowledge. So how have the new classes been received? Check out some of the early feedback from your peers in the industry.

I thought the course was incredible! I learned so much.

Sarah Hill, Marketing and Communications Associate, APCO International

As Hill continues to help APCO International outline its digital strategy, she highlighted that the course helped her step into her own attendees’ shoes, too. “One particular strength of the program is in the delivery model,” Hill said. “The entire course was created and presented in a way that illustrated the concepts and technologies we were learning about. So, we were learning from the subject matter experts while, at the same time experiencing some of the things that our own digital event attendees will experience during our events. Really, a priceless experience.”

I am very excited. Thank you all for this amazing course.

Andrea Black, Meeting and Event Specialist, Project Lead The Way, Inc.

Project Lead The Way, Inc. is transforming the way K-12 students learn across the US, and Black will take that transformation even further with her new DES skills. “The study materials were absolutely amazing – I felt totally prepared for the exam,” Black said. “This has been a great experience.”

I LOVED the class.  So much useful information but broken down into accessible pieces.

Elizabeth Pearce, Event Technology & Financial Strategist, Event Apptitude

As Pearce helps Event Apptitude’s clients create mobile apps that will drive attendee engagement, she uncovered more insights to help her navigate the digital evolution during her time in DES. “I liked the weekly sessions and found having that on my calendar extremely helpful,” Pearce said. “I originally thought I would prefer to do the class on my own, but don’t think I would have been as successful without the live sessions to check in and help pace me. The links for additional resources are great. I’m sure I will be using them as I process all the new info and start applying it to my clients.”
